This quiet, charming, 1950s-era cottage has large screened-in porch, 150 feet of private waterfront, and sleeps up to five people. It's the perfect antidote to busy beaches and crowded campsites.

Overlooking Seneca Lake, the cottage sits in the dappled shade of hundred-year-old oak trees and furnishes exquisite views of the lake and spectacular sunsets. It is beautifully decorated, and fully furnished, with large living and dining areas as well as 2 bedrooms, bathroom with shower, and a spacious kitchen. The large screened-in porch is ideal for enjoying a lake-view meal or a peaceful afternoon nap.

Our waterfront area features a long stony beach lined with trees and the clear, cool waters of Seneca Lake. Many enjoy fishing as well as swimming and boating on the lake.

There are many attractions in the area for visitors:

• The Seneca Lake Wine Trail offers at least 30 estate wineries within 20 minutes of the cottage.
• Lodi Point has a boat-launching area and a small park for picnicking just five minutes away.
• To get to the Finger Lakes National Forest or Watkins Glen State Park takes less than 20 minutes along Route 414, one of the most beautiful drives in the United States.
• In-season fruits and vegetables are offered by Amish, Mennonite and local farmers.
